Rockwell is designed by Monotype Corporation in 1934. It is basically used for small-sized body text which is based from the old condensed slab serif design, the Litho Antique.
Rockwell is the type of font that you can easily recognize. Whether it’s Egyptian, slab serif, or square serif, Rockwell’s straight edge serif and boldness makes it all distinct. This font is ideal if you are in the look for a vintage flavor whilst keeping a legible design.
One of the many companies that used Rockwell is the Guinness Book of World Records in their early 90’s edition. The Tall Lighthouse company actually used it as well in all of their books and official website. Up to this day, Rockwell is still patronized by large corporations.
