Futura PT comes from the company of Bauer, and was originally designed by Paul Renner in 1927. The Cyrillic version was then developed at ParaType by Vladimir Yefimov in 1995 while additional styles were added in 2007 by Isabella Chaeva.
Futura PT is the expanded variety of the original Futura design. To complement the entire family, the original eight styles were comparatively updated to seven weights with matching obliques and eight condensed styles. Each of these fonts is equipped with harmonized metrics, letterforms, and weights to counterpart each other.
Futura Pt is currently on the 17th spot of the bestselling fonts. It is available in 84 languages, and supports licenses of all types.
